Quit Smoking Breakthrough Event
Date: Sunday 4th January
Time 2:30–4pm
Venue: St Radigunds Community Centre, Dover
Ticket Price: £35
If you’re ready to make 2026 the year you stop smoking for good, this insightful session gives you a clear way forward. It’s designed for people who feel ready to quit, even if previous attempts haven’t stuck.
I’m your host, Michelle, a Clinical Solution-Focused Hypnotherapist based in Dover. I use a neuroscience‑informed approach that addresses both the behavioural and neurological components of the habit.
By understanding how the brain has been maintaining the behaviour, it helps support long‑term change, so you walk away as a non-smoker not just tomorrow or next month, but in the years ahead.

“The trance was deeply relaxing and it was so insightful to understand what’s happening in the brain when we smoke. I was asked to put my cigarettes in the bin afterwards and it was so easy to let go of them. I’m looking forward to saving money now. Thank you Michelle.” – Mike
⭐⭐⭐⭐
“I had such a lovely calm session with Michelle. I was put at ease as soon as I walked through the door which really helped calm my nerves. I had been vaping for years and thought I could never quit, but my session with Michelle really worked and gave me the inner strength I needed. I also learnt how some of the brain works which I found very helpful and interesting. Thank you Michelle, I would highly recommend you.” – Rebecca
Spaces are limited to 12. Applications are reviewed within 48 hours
What We Cover In The Session
In the first half of the session, we begin with a clear explanation of how the smoking habit becomes encoded in the brain. This includes how the primitive mind links smoking with managing stress or emotion, and how repeated behaviour strengthens that association.
In the second half you’ll remain seated while we take part in a guided hypnosis session to bypass the busy conscious mind, allowing us to access the part of the brain that drives the habit, and support the decision to permanently stop smoking. Many people describe this experience as feeling more relaxed than they’ve felt in a long time.
You won’t be asked to speak or interact, simply just listening is all that’s required of you. This isn’t stage hypnosis, so no one will be doing anything bizarre or embarrassing, it’s a focused, clinical process that helps you move towards the result you want.. never needing to smoke again.
To finalize the session you will be asked to dispose of all your smoking tools and devices in the bin provided, including lighters, ashtrays, tins and cigarette papers.
Who This Event Is Ideal For
This session is suitable for men and women (over 18) who smoke cigarettes, cigars, or rolled cigarettes, and are genuinely ready to stop, even if you’ve tried many times before.
This is a focused, educational and therapeutic session delivered to a small group, with a maximum of 12 places to ensure a calm environment and a comfortable experience for everyone.
You’ll be taken to submit a short questionnaire about your smoking habits. I read every application myself and will get back to you within 48 hrs to offer you a place if the session is a good fit and still have available spaces.

Evidence and Important Information
Some studies report high success rates for hypnosis in smoking cessation, including trials showing 80 to 86% of participants smoke‑free at follow‑up.
Results vary, but overall research supports hypnosis as a valid tool for habit change.
This method works best when you’re genuinely ready to quit. Individual results vary. Hypnotherapy is not a substitute for medical advice and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
