Event Overview
These are 90 minute single-session ‘quit smoking’ and ‘quit vaping’ small hypnotherapy events, hosted by Michelle. They include online and in-person group sessions, and a post-event relaxation audio to listen at home.This session is not a substitute for medical care, and I do not provide medical advice. You must be 18 or over to attend.
1. Booking, Payment & Readiness
Readiness check (6/10 minimum)
There will be a few short questions to answer along the process regarding your smoking habits. Please answer the questions honestly. I reserve the right to decline attendance if your form suggests the event is not right for you. In these cases, I may recommend 1:1 sessions instead and a credit will be issued for such sessions.
Booking
Your booking is confirmed only once full payment is received via the online booking process; Booking Page
If you encounter any issues with the process or do not have access to the internet please contact Michelle 07857 661483 and alternative payment options can be arranged.
No cancellations or transfers
Places are limited and prepared for in advance. For this reason, bookings are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled so please be sure of your booking. Please see individual event descriptions for ticket transfers if you need to reschedule.
If you are unable to attend, you may request a one-time transfer to another available session of the same type, provided you give at least 7 days’ notice to Michelle at info@yeshypnotherapy.co.uk This protects the integrity of the group session and ensures fairness for all participants. Transfers are subject to availability.
If I need to Cancel
In the unlikely event that I need to cancel the session due to unforeseen circumstances (such as illness, venue problems or an emergency), you will be offered either:
- a place on the rescheduled event date, or
- a full refund returned to you within 3 working days.
If the event is rescheduled and you cannot make the new date, you will receive a full refund.
No other compensation is offered.
2. Suitability & Health Requirements
Conditions unsuitable for this event
For safety and effectiveness, the group session is not suitable for anyone who is experiencing:
- Active substance misuse
- Current psychiatric crisis
- Psychosis
- Severe depression
If any of these apply, you will need 1:1 hypnotherapy before attempting smoking cessation work.
Medical responsibility
Hypnotherapy is not a replacement for GP care.
You agree that:
- I do not diagnose, treat, or advise on medical conditions
- You remain responsible for your own medical wellbeing
- If you have concerns about withdrawal, medication, or health changes, you will speak to your GP
3. During the Event
Arrival & participation
Please arrive on time.
Late arrivals may be turned away if the session has already begun, as entering during trance disrupts the group.
This is a small-group session limited to 12 people to ensure a calm, focused environment and a comfortable experience for everyone. For online events please ensure your camera and mic are working to begin with while I introduce myself, you may switch them off after if you prefer privacy.
Recording
Recording the event (video or audio) is not permitted.
I do not record the session myself.
Behaviour & respect
This is a therapeutic environment.
Disruptive behaviour, disrespectful conduct or anything that impacts the safety or comfort of the group may result in you being asked to leave, without refund.
Accessibility
In person sessions: If you have mobility, sensory, or access needs, please inform me in advance so I can support you appropriately.
No alcohol or drugs
You must attend free from alcohol and recreational drugs.
4. Aftercare
Hypnosis audio
You will receive a post-event hypnosis audio.
Listening nightly over the following 6 weeks plays an important role in strengthening the new behavioural pathways created in the session.It doesn’t matter if you fall asleep while listening.
Results vary and cannot be guaranteed, but the audio significantly supports the process. For your safety do not listen whilst driving, bathing or operating machinery.
5. Personal Responsibility & Liability
You remain responsible for your decisions, actions and wellbeing throughout and after the event. While many people experience significant benefits, result may vary and cannot be guaranteed.
I am not liable for:
- Your results or outcomes
- Any lifestyle changes you decide to make
- Any issues arising from withdrawal or stopping smoking
If you experience distress, unusual symptoms or health concerns, you agree to contact your GP or appropriate services.
6. Confidentiality & Safeguarding
Your information is kept confidential unless I believe there is a risk of harm to you or someone else, in which case I may need to follow safeguarding guidelines.
