As a hypnotherapist, people usually come to me when they’ve had enough of feeling ruled by anxiety or stress, or they’re stuck in habits and reactions that feel hard to change.
I also teach Pilates, and that’s where I first saw how strongly people doubt themselves. Someone will walk in convinced their body can’t do something, and within a few weeks they’re doing it as part of the flow without even noticing how far they’ve come.
Therapy works in a similar way. In Solution Focused Hypnotherapy we look at what’s already working, what they want instead, and the small steps that move them forward. Just as in Pilates, where people discover they can do more than they expected, clients begin to realise their brain isn’t fixed in one mode. When they understand how the stress response operates and how to interrupt old patterns, change becomes far more straightforward.
My curiosity about the mind–body connection eventually led me to train with The Clifton Practice, one of the UK’s leading schools for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, where I earned both my Level 4 Diploma (DSFH) and the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD).

Before I found this work, I spent years navigating anxiety and a spinal condition that forced me to rethink how I lived, worked, and moved.
Those challenges guided me towards Pilates, and later a deeper understanding of the brain. I share this because I understand what it’s like to want change and not know where to start.
I made a series of small, realistic changes that helped me manage chronic pain, lose 30kg, and rebuild confidence that felt solid.. all while navigating the challenges of menopause. That experience shapes the way I support others, combining professional training with lived understanding.
My role is to help you understand your brain and support you in moving in the direction you want to go.
